Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at SEGULA Technologies.
About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for actively engaging in functional safety activities within your team and organization. Your role will span over different levels, including contributing to concept phase working with Hazar Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Functional Safety Concepts (FSC, FSR), and participating in the design phase with Technical Safety Concepts (TSC, TSR).
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to functional safety activities within your team and organization.
- Interact with stakeholders such as system designers, function owners, and test teams to ensure that all related safety requirements have been identified, implemented, and tested based on the V-model.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
- Experience working with safety-related software/system development or test in the automotive industry.
- Experience working with requirement management tools such as SystemWeaver, Polarion Elektra, or similar.
- Knowledge of working with the functional safety standard ISO26262.
- Knowledge of FMEA, DFMEA, FTA.
- Excellent English skills (speaking, reading, writing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science in Computer science/engineering, electrical engineering, or similar.
- SAFe certification.
- Knowledge of ISO21448.
- Swedish language skills.
