About the Role:

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to join our team at our tissue production site in Lilla Edet, Sweden. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing a professional and comprehensive Health and Safety function that meets legislative and business needs.

About the Site:

Our tissue mill and international distribution center is located 50 kilometers north of Gothenburg, Sweden. With an annual capacity of approximately 100,000 tons of tissue, we are a leading player in the industry. Our facility features advanced technology machine lines and is the first large-scale facility to produce tissue paper without fossil-based CO2 emissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement emergency preparedness and business continuity plans on site.
  • Oversee ISO 45001 compliance, including internal and external audits, to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Develop a Health and Safety strategy that fosters a mature culture and promotes a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Support managers in the implementation and maintenance of Health and Safety practices, including training and coaching.
  • Stay informed of legal requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct necessary training related to safety systems and standards to ensure a high level of awareness and understanding among employees.
  • Support the Site Manager in implementing company standards and goals, including the development of safety leadership programs.
  • Lead incident management and investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and lead forums for safety improvements, such as the Safety Committee and Traffic Management Committee.
  • Manage the company's reporting platform implementation to ensure accurate and timely reporting of incidents and near misses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
  • Experience as a Safety and Health Manager in a large production organization, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing Health and Safety strategies.
  • Proven leadership and coaching experience in safety culture development, with the ability to motivate and engage employees.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
