About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to join our Development Team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing Teamcenter solutions/projects that meet business requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with functional groups to gather requirements and drive To-Be system design with all stakeholders.
  2. Map PLM requirements to Teamcenter framework.
  3. Troubleshoot product & technology limitations and issues.
  4. Coordinate and drive project development and the development team.
  5. Incorporate PLM/Teamcenter Development Best Practices.

Your Background

  1. Knowledge in Teamcenter UA Product such as Engineering Data Management, BOM Management Workflow, BOM Management, Change Management, and more.
  2. Skills in mapping business requirements to PLM/Teamcenter framework.
  3. Teamcenter Solution Designing for both Client and Server and integration with third-party applications such as SAP4Hana, NX, and ECAD Tools.
  4. Experience in Active workspace configuration and customization and in Teamcenter architecture and Data Model configuration.
  5. Experience in installing, configuring 2-Tier & 4-Tier clients, file management server, dispatcher server & CAD integration.
  6. Basic problem-solving skills to resolve Application issues, troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis.
  7. Good coding & architecture skills, Teamcenter client-server customization, Teamcenter services SOA customization.
  8. Exposure to real-time customer environments & implementation of Teamcenter product solutions.
  9. Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world.

Specific Requirements

  1. Experience of Multi BOM Management in TC and AWC latest versions.
  2. Understanding of how to move from RAC to AWC world (knowing the soul of TC AWC data model and Multi BOM Management capability).
  3. Understanding of Multi BOM management in ETO world.
  4. Understanding of large solutions, products in products, like power stations, plants, and ships.
  5. Understanding that this type of solution has an ecosystem model that contains a lot of external designs, external production in multiple suppliers/multiple locations, some internal production, production in multiple locations.

Technical Skills

  1. C/C++ programming language and TC server-side (ITK & SOA) customization.
  2. Declarative UI configuration (Active Workspace) and Customization.
  3. Good knowledge of web technologies e.g., XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Teamcenter ITK, SOA programming, Web methods & web service architecture.
