The opportunity exists to accelerate the transition to green energy by creating customized embedded control systems consisting of both software and hardware.

As a Software Engineer in our Global HVDC Control & Protection Software team, you will contribute to Converter Control, Protection, System Solutions, Sequence & Interlocking, System Supervision & Communication, Auxiliary Power Systems, and Simulation & Verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and development of the control and protection code library used in HVDC projects.
  • Testing of code changes.
  • Daily planning and organization of your work.
  • Solving challenges and collaborating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, High Voltage, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Interest or experience in software development and programming.
  • Interest or experience in digital control technology and signal processing.
  • Experience from the electric power industry.
