Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our Fintech Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our financial services platform using Kotlin and other modern technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in building integrations and automating financial processes for local country teams and supporting expansion in our markets and towards new ones.
Responsibilities- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure microservices using Kotlin and other modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high-quality code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our platform.
- 5+ years of experience in developing production-level microservices using Kotlin or other JVM backend languages.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and best practices.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, K8s, and AWS is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
