Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Process Specialist to join our team at ADP. In this role, you will serve as the front-line for solving clients' challenges, including issue resolution, answering questions, and providing support.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for identifying, improving, and following specific processes and routines to maximize the efficiency of the business.

As a Payroll Process Specialist, you will ensure correct information regarding salary payments, holiday debt, tax return, and year-end routines. You will also actively contribute to the development and profitability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide payroll processing and support to our customers within the correct time frame/deadline.
  • Maintain good knowledge of the company's applications (Hogia payroll, Flex HRM, PBM, Tulip, etc.) to prepare routines and reports.
  • Act as the primary contact person for their customers and build good relationships.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and agreements.
  • Maintain a high level of service and keep all information confidential.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and agreements and guide customers accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain good knowledge of our partners and working methods, and train consultants if necessary.
  • Have sufficient knowledge of our customers' contracts and prices for invoicing and ensure that the correct time and services are charged for own work.
  • Be proactive in planning and executing projects independently (functional responsibility) to achieve the project goal on time.
  • Provide support and guidance to consultants in parts of the payroll process and routines.
  • If necessary, act as a supervisor for new hires/juniors and interns, set up a schedule and follow up throughout the period.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customers' collective agreements and correct handling.
  • Perform quality assurance over the payroll process and reports.
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to independently solve problems directly with the customer.
  • Summarize conclusions and recommendations towards the customer and within the business for improvement, development, and streamlining.
