About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As part of our small, agile development tech organization, you'll work closely with our developers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure.

The role includes:

  • Responsibility over our AWS platform
  • Working with CI/CD, testing, and automation
  • Taking ownership and managing our Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Engage in close collaboration with our developers, actively participating in meetings to understand their needs and support their success.
  • Support developers by educating them on the platform, driving learning, and developing platform services to enhance their workflow.
Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Multiple years' experience working with cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools.
  • Knowledge of the full software development life cycle and delivery using agile practices.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or other tools.

If you also have at least two of the following, we are sure we would be a good match:

  • Experience in code development in at least one object-oriented programming language.
  • Experience with automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
  • Experience with self-hosted Grafana observability stack.
