Job Description:

As a Data Engineer for Analytical Solutions, you'll play a key role in shaping how Instabee builds its analytical data layers. You'll work closely with the Business Intelligence team to design and build data models that support business processes, ensuring governance and trust in data are critical. Your expertise will be crucial in:

  • Designing and building data models using SQL and DBT automation
  • Transforming data using various techniques, including Python programming
  • Working on analytical projects to answer hypotheses or solve stakeholder ideas
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends and advances in data processing
  • Promoting your work internally and externally

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience from a Data Analyst, Data Engineering, or Data Scientist role
  • A university degree in an analytical field (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and command of analytical functions
  • Understanding of data modeling techniques and their value in delivering end-user self-service
  • Good programming skills in Python and Go
  • Ability to use a data visualization and methodical approach to communicate findings
  • Understanding of modern cloud computing and SaaS tools (FiveTran, Snowflake, DBT, Tableau, Python)
