About this role

You will join the Group Data Privacy Office, a newly established team in Group Business Support (GBS). The team acts as a centre of excellence for Data Privacy in the first line of defence of Nordea, providing expert advice on data protection and privacy laws, and developing and implementing the Group's Data Privacy policy framework and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Group's Data Privacy policy framework and governance, translating legal requirements into guidelines and procedures
  • Provide expert advice on data protection and privacy laws, and develop guidance and tools to support Nordea's Business Areas and Group Functions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Nordea's cross-border organisation to drive the optimisation of the Group's data privacy risk framework, governance, and operational processes
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across the lines of defence
  • Drive data privacy awareness and training across the Group
  • Support other activities that may arise (regulatory interactions, management information reporting, projects)

About You

We are looking for a collaborative and proactive individual who has excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, strong analytical and reporting skills, and is fluent in English (spoken and written at a professional level).

Your Qualifications

  • Subject matter expert with knowledge and experience in data protection and privacy laws
  • Experience in privacy operational processes
  • Relevant university degree
  • Experience of working in complex organisations is desirable
