MANTLE is a rapidly growing beauty brand seeking an experienced Wholesale Business Development Manager to drive the growth of wholesale sales and nurture existing relationships with key partners. As a member of our highly motivated team, you will play a crucial role in building MANTLE's presence globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Win and drive growth with key accounts, primarily focusing on the Nordics region.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit targets within the wholesale segment.
  • Identify new opportunities in the market to expand distribution.
  • Negotiate favorable trading agreements to enhance MANTLE's competitiveness and market presence.
  • Manage the P&L for each retailer.
  • Regularly analyze and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at driving sales and brand visibility within retail and distribution channels.

Additionally, you will cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale partners across EMEA, serving as the primary point of contact.

The role includes determining optimal in-store assortments and visual merchandising strategies across various channels.

  • Address stock issues promptly, including overstock and understock situations, to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Manage the budget for testers/samples and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in managing wholesale accounts, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (beauty, wellness, and/or fashion) with experience in the Nordics.
  • Proven network of retail contacts in relevant markets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and ability to act on strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in report preparation and data analysis to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
