Island Estate Caretaker

Experience a unique opportunity to live and work on a stunning private island in the Swedish archipelago.

This full-time, year-round position is ideal for a couple who works well together and is comfortable with a remote lifestyle.

The island features multiple structures: a main house, guest house, and staff housing.

As the island's caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the property's upkeep, including housekeeping, gardening, and animal care. This includes caring for a flock of animals (goats, sheep, chickens).

You will also be responsible for the maintenance of a fleet of smaller boats and watercraft.

The family visits during summer and winter months, and the couple may be required to assist with projects on other properties in Sweden as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience with housekeeping, occasional light cooking, and boat maintenance.

A comfort level with powerboats and the ability to handle them safely is essential, as all shipping is via private boats from the mainland, regardless of the season.
