We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Integrity Engineer to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on mechanical integrity aspects and contributing to R&D projects and fault reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stress and lifing assessments using finite element analysis and other numerical models to ensure the integrity of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and input for accurate risk assessment and calculations.
- Develop and implement methodologies for material modeling and FEM analysis to support lifing calculations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in software tools such as ABAQUS, HyperMesh, NX, EVAL, and FRANC3D.
- Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in material modeling and FEM analysis for lifing calculations, with a strong understanding of relevant principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with software tools such as ABAQUS, HyperMesh, NX, EVAL, and FRANC3D.
- Good knowledge of turbine component functions and their interactions within the gas turbine.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
