**Job Description**

As a Drama and English Teacher at the British International School of Stockholm, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your expertise in teaching Drama and English will enable you to inspire, motivate, and engage students in a comprehensive curriculum that includes Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and IB Diploma Programme examinations.

**Responsibilities and Expectations**

  • Promote the school's vision and values, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement high-quality lesson plans, incorporating the latest educational research and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and develop our English and Drama curricula, ensuring a cohesive and engaging learning experience for students.
  • Hold students accountable, maintaining an effective learning environment that encourages academic rigor and creativity.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Proven experience teaching Drama and English from Years 7 to 13.
  • Be a fully qualified teacher (UK BEd or PGCE with relevant degree, or hold the equivalent recognised teaching qualifications from other countries).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Eligibility to live and work in Sweden.
  • A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with a proven ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.
