Embassy Chancery Technician

The Embassy of Japan in Sweden is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team. As a maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

• Maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment, including routine checkups and minor repairs.
• Development of repair and upgrade plans, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and technical feasibility.
• Coordination with external contractors and oversight of their work.
• General administrative tasks, including record-keeping and reporting.

• Relevant certifications or licenses, such as Elsäkerhetsverket electrician authorization.
• Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a diplomatic mission or international organization.
• Strong language skills, with proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software applications.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
