Winthrop Technologies is a leading data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.
We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.
We are seeking an Electrical Authorised Person to join our expanding team in Sweden.
The successful candidate will oversee a team of Electrical Engineers and Supervisors as they carry out Electrical Works and ensure the project programme is kept.
The role involves engaging with Site Management team with the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure, ensuring all Workplace personnel are aware of and are complying with the Electrical Safe Systems of Work, and issuing and controlling Permits for all Energised working activities under scope of work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project specifications and drawings, and will be able to review and interpret basic electrical protection under fault conditions.
The role also involves completing Safety documents and lock out/tag out procedures and philosophies, carrying out review of Switchgear Distribution Topology and Controls prior to start-up, and supporting / liaising with specialist Testing & Commissioning contractors to carry out early reviews and agree commissioning sequences and test scripts.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising with Control System providers (Scada/BMS/EMS etc.) in the development of the system handover under permit control schedule and protocols, and supporting initial start-up and energization of equipment following the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work plan for MV/LV Systems.
The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and a ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
