We're seeking an experienced engineer to join our continuously improving Detect & Respond Platforms team, focusing on Microsoft Defender technologies and trusted internal party enabling, maintaining, supporting and providing expertise for owned tools.

The product area Detect & Respond Platforms (DRP) is an internal capability enabler for Sandvik's Global Security Operations. We proactively identify and address needs and gaps, fostering transparency and sharing best practices throughout our culture.

In this position, you'll maintain and enhance our MS Sentinel in technology, people, and processes, contributing to other areas of DRP's delivery. As a member of DRP, you're part of a team with openness and collaboration as core values.

You understand stakeholder needs and translate them into specifications and functionality, developing, testing, and implementing solutions while maintaining technical documentation. You suggest new functionality and efficiency improvements and provide operation and delivery support as needed.

Flexibility within Sweden is offered, with primary locations in Stockholm and regular presence necessary in Sandviken. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Sentinel, Azure security certifications, Linux, DevOps, deployment pipelines, and GitHub.

  • Experience with SIEM systems is required.
  • You need knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or similar are essential.
  • A relevant education or equivalent working experience is expected.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory, with Swedish knowledge beneficial.
