Job Description

We're seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Support Group, a development organization that builds in-house customer service tooling. Our team focuses on support chat, operational tooling for support agents, and self-service and automation. We're excited about applying machine learning and AI in this domain and are strengthening our data science team.

You'll work embedded in a cross-functional development team with engineers, designers, and product and analytics people owning the area and domain end-to-end. Your contributions will impact business outcomes, and you'll own the data science parts of the solution, working through the development lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.

Potential work topics include developing co-pilot tools for support associates and AI assistants for customers using the latest AI technologies, as well as traditional machine learning and optimization problems.

This role can be based in one of our tech hubs in Helsinki, Berlin, or Stockholm, or you can work remotely in Finland, Sweden, or Germany.

Qualifications

We're looking for a Data Science enthusiast who solves problems and makes a business impact through Data Science. You should have:

  • Previous experience building Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI solutions with measurable impact. You understand how to build data products and care about the end-user experience;
  • Experience with real-time applications and large-scale deployments, and can handle the entire lifecycle of data science solutions from ideation to maintenance;
  • Deep understanding and experience with Machine Learning and AI, a solid understanding of Statistics, and experience and knowledge in NLP. Experience working as part of an engineering team, building solutions to complex problems with large-scale and real-time requirements;
  • Interest in LLMs and GenAI and their applications to solving problems in production.
