About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Västerås, Sweden. As a key member of our quality organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our deliveries.

In this role, you will lead the site quality teams and implement quality policies and tools at the site level. You will also develop and maintain quality culture and right first time approach, ensuring consistency of QCD objectives and contractual/regulatory obligations.

You will have the opportunity to work on continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce CONQ, NCR, Safety issues, and Demerits. Additionally, you will deploy quality policy within the management committee of the site and ensure that development for quality gate reviews are done on time.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality action plans to improve quality culture and right first time approach.
  • Ensure consistency of QCD objectives and contractual/regulatory obligations applicable to projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement plans to analyze and reduce CONQ, NCR, Safety issues, and Demerits.
  • Deploy quality policy within the management committee of the site.
  • Manage and escalate top issues impacting safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate by internal audits the quality performance in each process.

  • Master's degree in Engineering, General Management, or Quality Management.
  • Extensive experience in quality, project, and operations management.
  • Proficiency in managing quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; Swedish is a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of the railway industry, including norms and certifications, is an asset.
  • Senior management experience, preferably with a broad understanding of various product types.
  • Ability to manage teams in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
