Role Overview

As a Head of Engineering at StickerApp AB, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our e-commerce platform. You will lead a team of talented engineers, collaborating closely to rebuild critical components of our platform and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical direction of the team, ensuring alignment with best practices, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with the team: develop high-quality code, review code, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing, and lead by example.
• Take ownership of technical decisions, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals.
• Act as a problem-solver, proactively identifying and addressing challenges in the development process.
• Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing technologies that enhance the platform and user experience.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks like Svelte.
• Experience with building APIs, integrating with third-party APIs, caching technologies like Redis, and Node.js frameworks like Express/Fastify.
• Expertise in developing component libraries and creating your own NPM packages.

Team and Work Arrangements

As a member of our team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining our storefront, integration with our headless CMS, customer tools, and editors.

Our hybrid work setup allows flexibility in choosing between working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home or working 5 days a week at the office.
