In this exciting position, you will drive the Sales of Large Projects focused on Renewables, Industries and Utilities to best serve our Customers and the growing market.

You will also support the organization to increase our Market penetration and implementing our Strategy by continuously interfacing with the various departments within the Global Product Group and Operating Units of Hitachi Energy Europe.

The position is primarily based in Västerås, Sweden, (other Hitachi Energy locations in Europe would also be considered) and you will report to the Head of Marketing & Sales of Hitachi Energy Europe.

As a Senior Project Development Manager, you will be responsible for working with key Customers on strategic large opportunities in the various Markets and Segments in Europe to further develop these opportunities into Orders.

You will drive the Capture team approach with a cross-functional and business unit team (across Europe) to develop the strategy to capture these key opportunities.

Collaboration with various stakeholders internally is essential to ensure full drive and transparency in order to develop the best solution that would fit within the customer expectations.

Key responsibilities include utilizing our existing business models and further developing long-term partnerships with these customers to secure best solutions for our customer within the portfolio offered.

Additionally, you will work with our Segment Leaders and local Marketing & Sales teams to implement mechanisms such as Frame Agreement and Capacity Reservation Agreements for securing opportunities while ensuring that we are able to fulfill customers' requirements from delivery times, optimized technical solutions and business models that will enable best value for our Customers and Hitachi Energy.

A degree in Engineering, Business or Management or other relevant subjects is required.

More than 15 years of experience in Sales, focus on large and complex multi-faceted, cross-country opportunities with a good track record of success within the Electrical and Power Industry is expected.

Self-driven and experienced in driving the success of Large Sales Orders working with different stakeholders and able to bring cross-functional teams together is crucial.

Experience in working in a multicultural environment, across different regions, is also highly valued.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach are necessary to excel in this role.

Travels are primarily within Europe and are recurring.
