About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python developer to join our Platform Engineering team, specifically the Developer Experience sub-team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python backend services.

Your primary focus will be on working with our internally developed CI/CD orchestrator, the Reactor, which helps our embedded Linux developers manage code changes and integrations. You will collaborate closely with users, deploy and operate services in production, and provide support to ensure seamless daily use of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, test, and maintain Python backend services.
  2. Package services as Docker images with deployments to Docker hosts or Kubernetes.
  3. Automate deployments and provisioning with Ansible, Flux, or similar tools.
  4. Monitor and log services using Elasticsearch, Datadog, or similar solutions.
  5. Ensure cyber security and hardening of software release pipelines.

We value experience in the following tech areas:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Python backend services.
  • Package services as Docker images with deployments to Docker hosts or Kubernetes.

  • Experience in monitoring and logging solutions like Elasticsearch, Datadog or similar.
  • Cyber security and hardening of software release pipelines.

A strong software engineer with the right mindset is more important than having the perfect matching technical background.
