About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Advanced Train Automation Specialist to join our team in Västerås. As a key player in the development of traction control software, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that improve the efficiency and safety of our rail network.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop traction control software for high-speed trains, commuter trains, and metros, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, electronics, and systems engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborate with our team to test, maintain, and update existing software solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to manage requirements, provide support during system tests and train commissioning, and contribute to the development of new solutions.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in software development for industrial applications or real-time systems, preferably with a drive for results and good problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, while proficiency in Swedish is desirable.
  • Experience with Simulink or similar graphical modeling and simulation tools is a plus.
