Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Merchant Underwriter, you will:
- Evaluate merchant applications to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with fraud prevention and regulatory standards.
- Verify key information by reviewing critical documentation and details to confirm accuracy and adherence to guidelines.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to perform background checks and analysis, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Analyze operations to evaluate businesses and confirm alignment with company policies and standards.
- Document findings to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address complex cases and enhance processes.
We believe you have:
- 1-3+ years of experience in underwriting, risk assessment, or related roles within the payments or financial services industry.
- A critical mindset with the ability to evaluate risks from multiple angles.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex structures and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
