We are seeking a highly skilled electrophysiologist to join our team as a postdoctoral researcher. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in neuronal nuclear protein signaling in the mouse brain.

About the Job

This position involves conducting slice electrophysiology experiments and analyzing data to uncover molecular mechanisms of learning and memory in the mouse brain during behavior. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with neighboring laboratories to learn and adapt new techniques, including single cell and spatial transcriptomics and genomics, protein engineering, and 2-photon imaging.

The recruited fellow is expected to play a leading role in experimental design, experimentation, analysis, as well as presentation and publication of results. Fluency in English is required, and applicants with patch-clamp or local field potential (LFP) experience are preferred.

Requirements
  • PhD degree
  • Experience in electrophysiology, particularly in patch-clamp or LFP techniques
