Stegra is a pioneering company in the steel industry, dedicated to producing green steel with zero CO2 emissions. Our mission is to disrupt the global steel industry by leveraging green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal. We are currently constructing a fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, Sweden, which will produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually by 2030.

We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Head of Power Supply, responsible for ensuring the delivery of our Stegra Boden Project. The successful candidate will have a central role in securing full-scale operations on site for hydrogen production, iron production, and steel production. This position requires strong technical expertise, proven negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate demanding project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships between Stegra and power grid stakeholders.
  • Lead technical dialogues with grid providers to secure power availability and optimize power quality.
  • Provide technical guidance for new projects in various regions.
  • Interface with departments including growth, project delivery, operations, and digital solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience leading power equipment procurement, design, and performance.
  • Experience with major grid distribution projects and providers.
  • Knowledge of Swedish power grid systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects such as transformers, GIS, and Statcom.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and leadership experience.
