Job Description

The Property Maintenance Generalist will be responsible for maintaining and improving the outdoor environment, including irrigation, leaf collection, lawn mowing, tree pruning, and snow removal. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Maintain and improve the outdoor spaces, including irrigation, leaf collection, lawn mowing, tree pruning, and snow removal.
  • Ensure the tools and equipment used in the outdoor environment are properly maintained and cared for.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, tenants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Meet the high demands of the IKEA outdoor area in Älmhult by ensuring it is tidy and nice at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience working with and maintaining outdoor environments.
  • General knowledge and interest in property maintenance and caring for trees and plants.
  • Beneficial, but not required, to have previous experience working with tools and equipment normally used for outdoor maintenance.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Good understanding of both Swedish and English.
  • Driving license (B).
