Your Role in This Mission

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Controller/Coordinator to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in improving and streamlining our payroll and financial processes.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all information for payroll and travel expenses each month with the HR team and external payroll provider. You will also be required to book, reconcile, and analyze payroll figures and tasks, including social fees, personal taxes, pensions, insurances, and other relevant data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate monthly payroll and travel expense information with HR and external providers.
  • Book, reconcile, and analyze payroll figures and tasks, including social fees, personal taxes, pensions, insurances, and other data.
  • Participate in projects aimed at improving and developing payroll and finance processes.
  • Assist HR and external providers in addressing employee queries related to collective agreements, employee contracts, health benefits, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Report on payroll-related costs and fees, such as social fees, personal taxes, pensions, statistics, insurances, certificates, and other relevant data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in complex environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll and employee legislation in Sweden or other Nordic countries.
  • Experience in internal and external HR/payroll reporting and knowledge of good practices in internal controls over HR/payroll reporting.
  • Advanced user of IT systems (ERP, Excel, HR reporting tools).
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in one or more languages spoken in the Nordic countries.
  • Experience using HI-BOB and Netsuite.
  • Knowledge of payroll rules and regulations in other European countries.
