Cellcolabs is expanding its production team with additional GMP engineers. We are seeking driven and meticulous individuals with a passion for industrial production. In this role, you will become a central part of the team working on the production of Cellcolabs high-quality mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs). These cells, produced in accordance with strict GMP standards, are used for research in preclinical and clinical trials and have shown promising results in the treatment of chronic diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and rheumatism.
Cellcolabs focuses on scaling up production to meet global demand and making advanced stem cell research accessible to more people.
Key Responsibilities- Specialize in GMP production and work in Cellcolabs' qualified and validated facility.
- Play a crucial role in the company's mission to reduce the cost of stem cell therapies through efficient large-scale production.
- Contribute to Cellcolabs' vision of providing high-quality, GMP-compliant cells to a global market and contributing to the next major biotechnology breakthrough.
- Higher education in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in pharmaceutical production in accordance with GMP standards.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Previous experience in cell culture.
- Experience with aseptic work and work in B-class (strongly desirable).
- Experience working with mesenchymal stromal cells.
- Knowledge of Swedish.
Cellcolabs was founded in 2021 to address the shortage of GMP-produced stem cells for both clinical trials and research. With a solid foundation in over 25 years of research at Karolinska Institutet, led by Professor Katarina Le Blanc, and with support from its partners, Cellcolabs aims to become a leading player in stem cell production. The company's cells are currently not approved for treatment, but are used in research and trials with approval from national ethics review committees.
