Saab is a leading defense and security company with an enduring mission to help nations keep their people and society safe. We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Strategist to join our Marketing, Sales and Strategy management team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to drive long-term profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in Strategic Roadmap and Business Development Planning, with a strong understanding of the defense and security industry.

You will work closely with our international teams to identify opportunities and develop strategies to capture new business. You will also be responsible for creating partnerships, suggesting and supporting Merger and Acquisition activities, and coordinating our product portfolio.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is passionate about developing themselves and their team members. To be successful in this position, you need to have the ability to motivate and engage others, as well as to organize, prioritize, and make decisions to improve performance and profitability.

  • You should have an appropriate professional or postgraduate qualification in a business-oriented or technical discipline.
  • You should have experience in Strategic, Roadmap, and Business development planning.
  • You should have a strong business and customer understanding.
  • You should have the ability to work in an international environment and matrix organization.
  • You should be able to combine strategic thinking with operational actions.
  • You should have a proven ability and interest in leading, developing, and challenging the organization, management teams, and employees.
  • You should have excellent language abilities with English as a minimum, and other languages as a merit.
