About the Role

As an Electronic Design and Development Professional at Alstom Transport, you will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing electronic hardware designs. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative control system products that transform the transportation industry.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop electronic hardware components that meet the company's goals. Your expertise in analogue and digital hardware design, as well as your knowledge of FPGA firmware design (VHDL) and hardware design tools (e.g. Altium), will be invaluable in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic hardware components
  • Collaborate with other teams to integrate hardware components into larger systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and processes

The successful candidate will have a strong academic background in electronics and significant experience in industrial electronic hardware design for embedded systems. You should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Electronics or related field
  • Strong experience in analogue and digital hardware design
  • Knowledge of FPGA firmware design (VHDL) and hardware design tools (e.g. Altium)
  • Experience with industrial electronic hardware design for embedded systems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
