Job Description

Saab is a leading defence and security company that empowers nations to keep their people and society safe. As a Business Controller within Corporate Cost Control, you will play an important role in the development of the organization.

You will act as a proactive and trusted advisor to one or more managers within the IT organization in all financial matters. This includes monitoring and controlling the financial part of the organization's issues and being an active member in the management team.

You will report both to the responsible manager within the IT organization and to your line manager within the finance organization. As part of the Finance Team in Corporate Cost Control, you will report to the Head of IT Cost Control.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To monitor and control financial aspects such as follow-up and analysis, budget preparation, and forecasting.
  • Analyze actuals and forecasts and initiate actions to improve financial performance to close gaps and reach targets.
  • Create an understanding and acceptance of the financial control, financial processes, and the purpose of these.
  • Be business and operationally focused and actively contribute to business development and decisions.
  • Being an active member in the management team, this means highlighting issues and proposing actions.
  • Interact with and act as a business partner with high integrity across the whole organization.
  • Work in close cooperation with other controllers in the Finance function and actively participate and contribute to improvements and progress in processes, systems, and control within the finance area.
