About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Brand Manager - Europe (Interim) to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our branding strategy within the Europe region.

This individual will be responsible for branding activities within the region, connecting with various stakeholders and teams, and fostering trust and recognition of the Hitachi brand among internal and external audiences. They will also develop Europe brand content and collaborate with the global lead of Branding and Communications teams to ensure consistent delivery and stewardship of our brand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the global brand strategy in the EU region
  • Lead re-branding activities within the EU region
  • Enhance global brand guidelines and visual identity system, ensuring consistency across European markets
  • Monitor, analyze, and report brand program results to optimize business outcomes
  • Support projects as a brand advocate and ambassador, embodying our brand principles, mission, and communication goals
  • Proactively partner with the Hitachi European branding teams to stay updated on new guidelines, best practices, and brand evolution in the region

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in brand management, Communications, or marketing roles
  • Graphic design skills with knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • A self-starter who can see a project from concept to launch
  • Creative eye and disciplined regard for aesthetic
  • Strong communications aptitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance impact on company success
  • Passionate about delivering brand growth and driving company mission
