The Volvo Group is seeking a highly skilled Commodity and Project Buyer to join our team in Group Trucks Purchasing. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will be responsible for driving strategic supplier decisions that impact our concept selection and truck development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the supplier selection process in projects, ensuring that suppliers meet project targets and budget requirements.
- Secure that supplier selection complies with segment strategy and segment business plan.
- Ensure that suppliers are prepared for production, including capacity and system updates.
- Secure the outcome of the sourcing in a contractual package and ensure all agreements are approved and signed.
