Bioinformatics Specialist wanted for the National Genomics Infrastructure.

The National Genomics Infrastructure (NGI) is a key part of Sweden's research infrastructure, dedicated to advancing molecular biosciences. Our platform provides access to cutting-edge DNA sequencing technologies and operates devices from leading providers like Illumina and Oxford Nanopore Technologies. We deliver hundreds of projects annually, spanning spatial single-cell sequencing to ancient DNA analysis.

We're seeking a skilled system administrator and developer to join our production team. Your primary role will be to develop and maintain informatics solutions handling bioinformatics data.

Key responsibilities include working with sequencing data straight off the machines, troubleshooting issues when needed, and participating in validation and verification routines. Familiarity with laboratory information management systems, particularly Clarity LIMS, is highly beneficial.

Successful applicants should hold a doctoral degree in bioinformatics, biostatistics, or related fields and have at least two years of relevant experience in academia or industry.
