Mining Specialist

Join us at Boliden as a Production Engineer and contribute to shaping the future of mining projects In this role, you will work with planning and follow-up of various construction works, such as support bank placement at dams and dam heightening.

Main duties:

1. Preparing, following up, and reporting of production schedules, tonnage plans, logistics planning, and design based on support bank layout
2. Participating in and driving general improvement work, developing routines, instructions, and SOPs related to the tasks of the position
3. Collaborating with other team members on related activities such as instrument heightening and deposition

Requirements:

• A technical post-secondary education, preferably an engineering degree with a focus on environmental technology, road and water technology, or similar fields
• Experience in mine planning or large-scale construction planning is advantageous
• Solid knowledge of theories and methods for construction machinery, analytical skills, and a strong commitment to issues to help develop construction work further
