Corporate Counsel for Riverty Nordic

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our team in Norway and Denmark. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in law and 2-5 years of hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support and advice on debt collection, consumer law, business law, and contract law.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate client contracts, supplier agreements, and other internal and external contracts and legal documents.
  • Support internal stakeholders and act as a sparring partner to the international Legal team.
  • Represent the organization in matters involving supervisory authorities.
  • Monitor upcoming legislation and advise on its impact on business.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in law (Norway or Denmark preferred) and 2-5 years of hands-on experience.
  • Experience in debt collection, debt purchase, consumer protection law, and contract law.
  • Well-developed legal, drafting, and advisory skills.
  • Analytical, determined, result-oriented, and self-motivated personality.
  • Ability to work independently and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and fluency in English and one of the Scandinavian languages.
