At Luleå University of Technology, we are committed to driving innovation and excellence in education and research. We invite applications for a permanent position as an Associate Professor in Information Systems with a focus on Information Security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the subject at undergraduate, advanced, and research-education levels, including teaching and examining students in information security courses. They will also contribute to the development of the subject, supervise graduate students, conduct and publish research, and apply for and lead research and industry projects.

To meet the requirements for this position, applicants must demonstrate both research and teaching expertise, with a research profile showing clear progress after completion of their doctoral thesis. They must also have experience in research-related commissions of trust, applying for and being granted external funding, publishing research output with researchers from different environments, and supervising doctoral students.

Assessment criteria for this position include research expertise, teaching expertise, and other assessment criteria, including knowledge of information security from an organizational perspective and ability to collaborate within the university and the surrounding community.
