At Paebbl, we're driving a revolutionary change in the built environment by transforming captured CO₂ into sustainable construction materials. We're seeking an experienced Public Finance Lead who can thrive in a dynamic growth environment and navigate complex funding landscapes.

Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in securing grant funding and managing public finance opportunities to support Paebbl's expansion. Your key responsibilities include developing a targeted grant strategy, identifying and prioritizing relevant small-scale grant opportunities, and implementing a systematic approach to tracking and evaluating potential funding sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Strategy and Opportunity Identification: Develop a comprehensive grant strategy aligned with Paebbl's innovation and growth objectives.
  • Proposal Development and Submission: Craft compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate Paebbl's carbon-storing material innovations and collaborate with technical team members to accurately represent our technology.
  • Grant & Subsidy-related Financial Management and Reporting: Develop project budgets that optimize the impact of grant funding for research and development and ensure compliance with all grant requirements and reporting obligations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in grant writing, public finance, or startup fundraising, preferably in sustainability or materials science.
  • Proven track record in successfully securing grants and subsidies for R&D-heavy CAPEX businesses.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, particularly in crafting grant and subsidy applications.
