Job Title: Animation Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Animation Director to join our team at Massive Entertainment – A Ubisoft Studio. As an Animation Director, you will be responsible for shaping and shepherding the animation vision and quality for our games, from conception to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and implement the animation strategy for our games.
  • Lead a team of animators to ensure high-quality animation deliverables.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that animation targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the game director, producers, and other animation teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in animation.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the animation industry, with a focus on AAA game development.
  • Proven track record of leading animation teams and delivering high-quality animation results.
  • Expert knowledge of animation software, including Motion Builder, 3DS Max, and Maya.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
