Job Title: Electromechanical Optimization Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Optimization Specialist to join our team in Västerås. This exciting opportunity involves optimizing the design of induction motors for railway applications using advanced multi-physics simulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with coursework in electrotechnics and electromagnetic analysis. Proficiency in simulation tools and experience with FluxMotor and Altair suite are significant advantages.

About the Role

This 20-week project will focus on enhancing the design of induction motors for railway vehicles through multi-physics optimization. The successful candidate will conduct a literature review, complete tutorials to gain proficiency with simulation tools, implement the motor model within the multi-physics environment, and optimize the motor design based on various criteria.

A comprehensive report detailing findings and methodologies will be compiled at the end of the project. Collaboration with transverse teams and helpful colleagues will be an integral part of this role.

  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with simulation tools
  • Background in electrical engineering with coursework in electrotechnics and electromagnetic analysis
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits
