Company Overview

The High Power Laboratory is an independent testing station, accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025, and a member of SATS Certification and STL. It is one of the few unique High Power Laboratories in the world. The Laboratory is a test facility for high voltage products, offering non-routine electrical and mechanical test procedures. Its main purpose is to perform high quality testing in the development of new products and certification for global markets.

Job Description

As a member of the management team, you will drive a positive team culture within the Laboratory, covering technology, infrastructure, and maintenance. You will understand and support the needs from the Laboratory units, then drive the actions that need to be taken. You will report the status of projects and key targets as a member of the management team. Additionally, you will support audits within the various functions in the Laboratory and contribute to strategic planning and the development of the Laboratory. You will also be responsible for the overall performance of this department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required. Comparable acquired competence may also be considered. Proven managerial experience for at least 5 years is necessary. Experience in successfully driving team culture and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, preferably within an engineering environment, is a plus. Familiarity with production engineering, R&D, and/or design is also beneficial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a drive for identifying trends and proposing innovative solutions, are required. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders are essential.
