For a brownfield project of an international engineering firm, we are currently recruiting a Construction Planner.

The role:
A key member in planning and optimizing project schedules in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry. Responsibilities include creating and updating schedules, managing risks, reviewing contractor plans, and using techniques to track performance.

Main duties:

  1. Create and manage engineering and construction schedules for projects at all stages, promoting teamwork and cooperation.
  2. Develop detailed project networks and schedules efficiently using Critical Path Method planning techniques.
  3. Identify potential risks early and propose solutions, prioritizing safety and success.
  4. Review contractor programs and schedules in line with contract requirements, ensuring accountability and excellence.
  5. Apply Earned Value Management techniques to transparently track performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
  2. Several years (typically 5-10) of experience in construction planning within FEED-EPC projects in oil & gas, petrochemical, or chemical projects.
  3. Extensive experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
  4. Familiarity with Office Package and Power BI.
  5. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project software.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Adaptability and flexibility in managing changing project requirements.
  8. Strong work ethic and commitment to project success.
  9. This position will require presence on site (Monday-Friday).
  10. You should be currently located in Sweden and have valid working rights.
