Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building, maintaining, and optimizing the backend systems that power our analytics capabilities, driving innovation and enabling Oatly to make informed decisions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that data is used efficiently and intelligently, significantly enhancing how our entire organization operates. Your work will generate powerful insights to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and uncover new opportunities, ultimately strengthening Oatly's position as a data-driven leader in our industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain secure data pipelines and infrastructure using Cloud and BI best practices to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient data flow across the organization.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support a modern DevOps environment, enhancing team productivity and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Shape and model the data warehouse, ensuring data is structured, accessible, and valuable for driving better business decisions and uncovering new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including BI developers, product owners, and business stakeholders, to deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet the needs of the business and beyond.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Data Engineer (or a similar role) with at least 3 years in data analytics or data science.
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL required for designing and implementing database solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure for data engineering responsibilities, including data storage, processing, and security.
  • A strong interest in data architecture, data governance, big data, data modeling, and data warehousing, along with the ability to connect with and contribute to BI development.
  • A passion for working with data, whether it's fast data, big data, or exploring new data-driven opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
