Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Underwriter to join our team in Stockholm, Sweden.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for underwriting and managing renewal books, as well as producing new profitable business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the development of the Property, Energy and Construction portfolio.
  2. BUILDING relationships with brokers and clients is essential for success in this role.
  3. Maintain and further develop expertise with products, services, and markets.
  4. SUPPORT the business planning and forecasting process.
  5. FOLLOW UP on claims development and support the claims department.
  6. IDENTIFY and drive new product development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • SEVERAL YEARS of relevant experience in property underwriting, ideally in a Nordic country.

  • DRIVEN and good negotiator with a solution-oriented approach.
  • ANALYTICAL and logical thinker with decision-making ability.
  • Languages: Swedish and English. Any other Nordic language orientation is an advantage.
