Economist and Entrepreneurship Specialist

The Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position to further strengthen our position in entrepreneurship and regional science research at the Centre for Entrepreneurship and Spatial Economics (CEnSE).

We seek candidates with a PhD degree in a relevant discipline, such as economics, economic geography or business administration. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will have the opportunity to conduct high-quality academic scholarship on regional science and/or entrepreneurship, with a focus on applied research relating to issues of entrepreneurship and business renewal, regional development and growth.

Your main tasks will be to conduct research and take an active role in the continued development of CEnSE (80%). The remaining time is allocated for teaching (20%). You will also have the opportunity to engage in joint projects and activities with colleagues at JIBS/CEnSE, and contribute to the research environment and many opportunities for personal development.

To be eligible, you must have a strong wish to conduct high-quality academic scholarship, a record of publications in top-tier journals, and personal networks and collaborations with researchers in an international context. You should also be fluent in both written and spoken English, as the main language of research and teaching at JIBS is English.
