About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Recipharm. As a Research Scientist, you will play a critical role in developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting unit operations for the manufacturing of Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) and other non-viral gene delivery methods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize particle generation mixing technologies
  • Assess new unit operations and investigate their suitability for the process
  • Optimize and troubleshoot TFF ultra and diafiltration steps
  • Characterize nanoparticles using various techniques and assays
  • Support scientists in experiments design, execution, and analysis
  • Interface with clients and data presentations
Qualifications
  • A minimum BS in chemical engineering, bioengineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or an MSC in chemical engineering, bioengineering, or pharmaceutical sciences with 1-3 years experience
  • Desire and drive to learn about process development and unit operations in non-viral gene therapy, specifically lipid nanoparticles
  • Experience with self-assembly and suspension formulations is an asset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
