About the Opportunity

As Qred's first Risk Analyst, you will team up with our Chief Risk Officer in the second-line Risk Control function, who is responsible for reviewing the governance and oversight of Qred's risk management. This function operates independently from the business and reports directly to the CEO and Board.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity for growth, as the function has overall review responsibilities and engages with various stakeholders across the organization. You'll have significant freedom to shape the role, influence processes, and drive improvements within risk management. Additionally, you'll be exposed to a wide range of tasks, providing a comprehensive understanding of the organization.

Your insights and contributions will have a direct impact on how we navigate risk, making this an exciting opportunity to develop, take ownership, and play a key role in Qred's continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Review risk management controls and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain the incident management process.
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Risk Report.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Eagerness to learn about the organization and its business operations.
  • Interest in expanding knowledge of banking regulatory requirements and Fin-tech.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.

  • Proven experience in risk management, governance, internal audit, or a related function.
  • Understanding of data analysis techniques and tools is a plus (e.g., SQL, Python).
  • Familiarity with operational and ICT risk.
