Job Description Summary

The System Study Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and modeling system studies for medium voltage switchgear and auxiliary transformer/distribution transformer, as well as developing and implementing system studies for low voltage AC & DC electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review system studies for medium voltage switchgear and auxiliary transformer/distribution transformer, including breaker selection and sizing, CT sizing, MCB/Fuse sizing, and cable sizing.
  • Develop and implement system studies for low voltage AC & DC electrical systems, encompassing breaker selection and sizing, CT sizing, MCB/Fuse sizing, and cable size verification from source to feeder end.
  • Perform short circuit analysis, load flow analysis, and arc flash study to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Calculate and prepare protective relay settings and coordination reports to prevent equipment damage.
  • Prepare detailed MV & LV power system study reports and arc flash reports to inform decision-making.
  • Provide expert engineering and technical consultation to internal and external customers on system studies, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.

About You

  • You hold a university degree in Engineering or equivalent experience from a comparable position.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have experience supporting team members in an environment with continuously emerging opportunities and challenges.
  • You will assess key business aspects and make informed decisions aligned with business requirements.
  • You possess good communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Swedish is advantageous.
  • You have high level time management skills and can meet deadlines.
