About the Role

Vestas is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Sweden. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including up-tower repairs and component exchanges.
  • Control and manage inventory of spare parts and tools.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including transport and logistics teams, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Travel throughout Sweden and the Nordic region to support colleagues and complete tasks.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical or machinery experience, preferably in heavy machinery, marine engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Service Technician in the turbine industry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work at heights, climb stairs and ladders, and lift heavy materials.
  • Valid driver's license (B or C) is required.
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability, including willingness to travel and work varied hours.
