About the Job
We are seeking a Factory Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Ludvika, Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving local sourcing strategies, maintaining and developing the supply base, and running regular supplier evaluations.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and networking abilities. The Factory Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with the regional SCM Manager, suppliers, and internal interfaces to achieve strategic sourcing goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive local sourcing strategies that align with regional SCM Manager's goals.
- Maintain and develop the supply base with focus on quality, delivery, and total cost.
- Run regular supplier evaluations in collaboration with the respective local buyer and initiate improvement projects when required.
- Identify new suppliers in cooperation with category team. Qualify new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
- Establish local standard agreements with major suppliers, renew pricelists, standard purchase terms, and conditions in line with Business directives and guidelines.
Your Background
- Proven track record in a supply chain function, with experience in driving cost-efficient solutions and improving supplier performance.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English.
